It can be said that adventure is at the core of every nomad; surely having a clean, comfortable place to rest is the bedrock on which the nomad plans her next adventure! Honorable Mentions: Colonel Allensworth State Historic Park is not actually owned by African Americans but rather is a Campground within the State of California park system. It is mentioned here because this site was once a town established, funded, and governed by African Americans in 1908.
